P F Jamieson 82 longtime First National Bank of Batavia president dies at his Batavia home after a lengthy illness. He served 53 years at the bank, led local business and civic groups, directed the Batavia Band, and founded local enterprises. Funeral set for 2:30 pm Thursday at Batavia Presbyterian Church. Surviving are three sons Donald Robert Jack and two daughters Mrs Randall Walker and Mrs James Ashburn.

Loveland Boy Hit By Car In Saturday Accident
Four year old Thomas Capozio of Loveland was struck by a car Saturday, suffering a broken leg and possible skull fracture. He was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Driver Larkin Hollow was not detained, and police say the child ran in front of the car.

Ground Is Broken For New C.G.&E. Plant Near New Richmond
Cincinnati Gas & Electric announces the Clermont Power Station to be built on a 200 acre site near the Ohio River west of New Richmond Ohio. Ground-breaking took place on Wednesday Nov 10 with officials and media joining in the expansion plan. The plant will have one 80 000 kilowatt unit with two 400 000 lb hr boilers and output up to 630 000 kilowatts after completion in 1951. The project includes new transmission lines and substations.
