The elderly Mrs. Marquaret Rumsey died after being rescued from her burning home. her grandson Leon Rumsey lived nearby. Mrs. Jeff Cummins’s house adjoining burned with no injuries reported. Investigation cites a spilled kerosene lamp after Rumsey’s fall.
