Election results from Clermont County show New Richmond electing a woman mayor with 55 percent of the vote in precincts including a named former mayor and 30 votes for Jerome H. Heyl. In nearby Harryworth 55, a mayoral winner secured 334 to 261 over Kelly Cowdrey. Present Mayor Hiler did not seek reelection. Bethel elected David F. Smith mayor 320 to 206 over Felix O. Coyle by 58.5 votes. Batavia saw Edmund Dotzauer win 102 votes across three precincts. Pierce Township reelected trustee Harley Clark by 767 votes. Clermont Northeastern district elected Ann M. Gatch with 901 votes. Two incumbents won unopposed for county school posts, Donald A. Collins 8311 and Robert K. Ludlow 7328. Other candidates listed with votes across districts including Batavia Milford and Cort. District results show various names and vote totals.
