Well Located Gas and Water Wells Near Clermont and Pt. Pleasant

The grand jury indictment accusing Lulu Hyden of kidnapping Virginia Fowler was dropped after Judge Clarence N. Young found no basis for conviction since both Virginia and her father had consented to the trip to Cincinnati. Hyden had faced aiding juvenile delinquency charges resulting in a six month jail term suspended on condition she stay away from Clermont county.

Fox Hunters Meet at Batavia with Large Crowd
Northern Kentucky and Southern Ohio Fox Hunters Association held its third day near Batavia on Thursday with 38 fox-hunting dogs. A noon feeding drew 700 people from Kentucky Ohio and Indiana. At 8 pm a dog show at Batavia Armory featured judges and winners across fox hounds bird dogs and setters. A national radio program honoring 4 H Club members will air Saturday November 7 from 12 30 to 1 30 pm with WLW Cincinnati and Washington segments and Galen Giangy of Goshen to sing.

Lady Attorney Quinby Dies At 62 In Edenton
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Edenton for H. Anna Quinby aged 62 who died suddenly in Wilmington after a stroke. Native of Edenton she practiced livestock farming and law at Ohio State University Columbus and was among the first women to practice law there. She twice ran for the State Legislature.
