Golden Wedding of Mr and Mrs Mahlon Marsh
Mr and Mrs Mahlon Marsh celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at their home 628 BE street NE Washington DC on the nineteenth. Mr Marsh aged eighty and Mrs Marsh seventy five. They have two sons Paul G a civil engineer and Allen J a teacher and two young grandsons. The family are active in the Methodist Episcopal Church and temperance work. Mrs Marsh has led Capitol Hill WTU for eleven years and serves on the WTU District of Columbia board and supports the D M Stearns Missionary Bible Class.

Jury venires set for two Batavia murder trials
On November 4 a 76 member venire will gather in Batavia to choose 12 jurors for the first degree murder case of Scott Workman about his wife’s Aug murder near New Richmond. River man found dead in Ohio river near New Richmond
The body of Chas. Watson of Mentor Kentucky was recovered Friday afternoon in the Ohio river at New Palestine below New Richmond by Geo Bennett and Harry Snider. The 88 year old single carpenter left Mentor Tuesday evening October 19 and was not seen again. Coroner Christopher ruled accidental drowning. Body sent to White funeral home New Richmond with funeral in Mentor Kentucky on Saturday.

Road Work Resumes on Batavia Owensville Pike

Fish and Fish In Clermont County Game Program
Depu ty State Game Warden Frank W. Stagg reports Clermont county received 372000 fish from the State for streams over three years. Distribution would feed many families, yet proper care is needed as some are ill treated. He stays on the job to protect them. Pike widening underway between Batavia and Owensville
Buerkle and Pringle secured the contract and now widen the cut atop the hill with steam shovels. In two weeks they will replace the stone and place a crusher at each end to move toward the center. A large clay pit near Forest Hill Home will remove mud from the summer hole. The County Commissioners plan to finish the pike to Stonelick ensuring safer travel soon.
