Three Burglaries In Batavia By Desperate Men
Three burglars armed with revolvers razors nitroglycerine dynamite caps entered Batavia stores after midnight using a crow bar. They fled toward Cincinnati but were captured after a pursuit by Sheriff Williams and deputies. Evidence includes tools money and a pin from a Masonic chapter. Grand jury found two joint indictments for burglary and concealed weapons against the trio.

Masons Hold 1915 Grand Communication in Dayton
The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ohio met in Dayton October 20 and 21 1915 for the 216th Grand Communication with M W Grand Master George L Marshall presiding. Ohio lodges total 640 with 101185 members a net gain of 5000. An excursion to the Ohio Masonic Home saw 765 Masons and wives tour Springfield including dedication of the boys and girls dormitory by the Grand Master. County Awards Steam Heating Contract to Dennison

Former New Vienna official pleads guilty in penitentiary term
Chas H Lewis former superintendent of New Vienna schools pleaded guilty in Clinton county common pleas court to desertion and was given an indeterminate sentence in the penitentiary. The schoolgirl he fled with died and was returned home for burial last week.
