Woman sues Keebler over cracker with pin in Batavia
Carolyn Helton filed in Clermont County common pleas a $39,500 suit against The Keebler Co Nationwide Gourmet and Wilson Seat Co alleging a straight pin was found in a Keebler cracker she bought May 17 1984 at Wilson Seat Co open display. She alleges pain medical bills and ongoing anxiety after hospital treatment.

FmHA offers loan help to farmers under Operation Assist
The Farmers Home Act office for Clermont and Brown counties joins Operation Assist to help farmers obtain guaranteed operating loans. Brown County supervisor Frankie Stith-Scott says officials will hand carry loan packages to local lenders and introduce applicants, aiming for up to 90 percent guaranteed loans. Nearly $800 million remains for guarantees as banks are encouraged to participate with prefiltered paperwork. Interested borrowers should contact the FmHA county office at 704 S.
