The Brewer Company of Newtown appeared to be the lowest bidder on all four resurfacing projects the county engineer's office advertised. Total bids for the four groups were about 57700. engineer estimates were near 750000. Barrett Paving Materials bid on one group. Brewer edged John R Jurgensen Co. on all four groups. Midwest Tank and Tower bid 39611 to paint and repair bridges on South Milford and Burg Salt Run roads. United Painting Company bid 53875. Palmer, who estimated the bridge work at 75000, will study all bids and recommend contract recipients.
