Three Hurt In Collisions and a Pinning Incident

Two Boys Sentenced By Juvenile Court in Batavia
In Batavia Ohio two teenage youths were sentenced by Probate Judge Orville Halbisch to the Boys Industrial School at Lancaster after being charged with seven break ins at the Farm Bureau office and theft from Charles Shinkle a wholesale gasoline distributor. Chief Ed Colonel and Juvenile Probation Officer Fred Hoh led the arrests.

Cromer Returns From Lima to Face Murder Indictment
Cromer Lee Cromer Jr., 29, of Loveland, was returned from Lima State Hospital by Sheriff Gerald W. Couden and Deputy Al Schwartz on a second degree murder charge. Indicted April 1 by Warren County Grand Jury for allegedly beating his infant step son to death. he pleaded innocent and will be tried after sanity finding.

Bethel Man Held on Arson Charge
Clarence B. Eaton, 30, of Bethel, was held on arson charges after a hearing set by Mayor J. F. Paschal. Arrested Thursday on a warrant from state fire marshal investigator Willis Peterson, Eaton pleaded innocent and was jailed after failing to post a $5000 bond. The case stems from a fire destroying the Tabor home on Airport Road and a neighbor’s residence nearby.
