Fatal Crash Claims Life of Percival Weller at Grant Highway
Percival Weller a 68 year old plasterer of Withamaville died after losing control of his car near Back Run on Grant highway south of Batavia. Rushed to Bethesda hospital in the White ambulance of New Richmond he died three hours later. His widow and Marjorie Peterson suffered minor injuries.

Mrs Sarah A. Doggett of Hillsboro died early Monday of last week at her daughter’s home on West South Street. A lifelong member of the original band of Women Crusaders she was 92. The Woman's Crusade began in Hillsboro on December 22, 1873.

Moonshine Raid Nets Still Near Brazier
