Clermont College leader organizes Hands Across America link
Batavia resident Pat Dion leads Clermont College in the Hands Across America event May 25 near Winton Woods to raise funds for the needy. About 50 volunteers are sought with a noon college gathering, a $10 registration preferred, and donations accepted for a spot in line. Participants should bring a picnic, chair, and water, with no alcohol allowed. Dion hopes more sign up to show national need beyond the reveal of the USA for Africa movement.
