Independent milk shippers are urged to attend an open meeting of milk producers at Batavia Court House Friday May 20 at 8 p.m. Clermont County committee is meeting with representatives from all counties in the Cincinnati Hamilton milk shed today the 18th in Cincinnati. Definite plans for the proposed organization are expected to be adopted. A complete report will be made Friday night.

Batavians in Auto Crash En Route to Delaware Visit
Mr. and Mrs. Eli H. Speidel of Batavia were injured in a Sunday morning collision on Route 0 near Fayetteville while driving to visit daughter Charlotte. Speidel suffered a broken leg, facial injuries, and knocked-out teeth. Mrs. Speidel broke a leg and ribs, cut requiring 18 stitches. They were aided at Fayetteville by first responders and transported to Christ Hospital by ambulance. Speidel is with Nichols Speidel Nichols law firm.

Man Pleads Guilty To Beer Possession In Batavia Raid
Sheriff Roberts and deputies raided the home of Chas Seibert near Batavia and seized beer. Seibert pleaded guilty to possession before Judge White and was fined 300 dollars plus costs. he remains jailed.
