Retired Soldier dies at 69 in Batavia home
Brigadier General Julius A. Penn died at his Batavia home at noon Sunday after months of heart trouble and two strokes. He served in the Philippines, earned a medal for gallantry, and had a long career from West Point grad to Military Secretary to General Corbin. Funeral was held Tuesday with interment in Union Cemetery.
