Amelia High Plans Voluntary Summer Classes

Amelia High School will offer a voluntary summer term with courses in foreign policy science safe driving and typing. Preliminary registration runs until June 10 with regular registration June 3 through June 7. fees include 12 dollars for senior high and six dollars for junior high per course, with higher out-of-district rates.

Milford Goodwill Store Showcases Handicapped Repair Efforts

Mrs. Ray Hilderbran of Day Heights views a dress cleaned and repaired by the Milford Goodwill Industries team at 312 Main. The store thanks Mrs. Loudermilk and local women donors whose materials fund Rehabilitation through Treatment Training Employment, with profits returning as wages to the handicapped workers.

Robert Slade announces results of the Ohio State Eighth Grade Scholarship Tests for Clermont County. Keith A. Milford reports George C. Sidwell 54, county GOP leader, hospitalized at Our Lady of Mercy with heart insufficiency after illness following Republican clubs meeting at the D-X Ranch. Doctors plan a series of tests. his wife, a county tuberculosis nurse, said he may have initially had a heart attack.

Williamsburg post master Marvin Sprague announced a signed lease for the former Glancy's Furniture and Appliances store to house a new post office. Milford man takes own life amid ill health

William McGee of Rt. 4 Batavia ended his life Friday with a shotgun while visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs Harry Storer on Rt. 50 two miles east of Milford. The Milford Life Squad reported he had been despondent over ill health after retiring six months ago from Norwood Chevrolet after 36 years. His wife and Mrs. Storer, sisters, found him.
