The Clermont County Human Services Board schedules its next regular meeting for Thursday after discussing TB Chest Clinic and YWCA support for Infant Stimulation nurse. Harlan Washburn moves action pending.
The Withamaville and Tabasco Park Association will host an annual carnival on May 12 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. May 13 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and May 14 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Rides and other activities are planned for the event.
Congressman William H. Harsha announced the House Surface Transportation Subcommittee approved an amendment to raise the federal share for Appalachian highway projects to 90 percent when ARC funds are combined with federal-aid primary funds. The plan speeds up construction by allowing states to use ARC funds totaling 45 to 60 percent of project costs and fill the rest with federal-aid primary funds.
Orders placed during the Clermont Northeastern Flower Sale last August will be delivered at the Primary School on May 19.
The Batavia Alumni Association will host its Annual Homecoming Dinner on Saturday May 20 at the Junior High building on Broadway. Fellowship hour starts at 6 and dinner at 7. Reservations are required and the cost is 5 dollars per person, payable to Batavia Alumni at 402 Woodside Dr Batavia Williamsburg.
