April term court docket shifts into June trials
The April term of the common pleas court led by Judge Frank Davis has run since April 30 with many cases disposed and a long docket set for trial into June. Upcoming May hearings include Albert Leeds vs Griffis and Mary Knabb vs Ward among numerous civil actions. the grand jury reported 11 bills and 14 ignored cases after examining 100 witnesses over three days.
