The Clermont County Hospital Guild hosts its fifth annual Mother's Day Boutique on May 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the hospital lobby. The sale features spring flowers, plants, hanging baskets, geraniums, ferns, and fresh baked goods. All proceeds benefit the Clermont County Hospital.
Owensville Clermont Northeastern Superintendent Budd Hegele urges churches fire departments and businesses in the Northeastern district to join Ohio’s Salute to Learning Day on May 7 by ringing bells at 11 a.m. Clermont Northeastern will join the statewide observance highlighting education. Hegele notes rising test scores and encourages parents to engage with their children and ring a bell at 10 a.m. on May 7.
Clermont County officials announce a Thursday May 8 5 p m caucus in the county commissioners office. Members will review new and revised 1981 fiscal year projects to shape county goals and the ARC project package with elected officials social service agencies and eligible nonprofits invited to attend and submit proposals.

Fran Schwierman Mrs Elizabeth Betty Krenning of Clough Pike Williamsville has been named Clermonts Mother of the Year. Carmel Social Club member, notes the workshop needs more help and clients while Clerco donates 100 each Christmas. Michael has held various jobs and recently been away for months seeking training experiences.
County official Wiesenhahn protests a transfer of 7612 from general funds into recreation commission accounts last Thursday. He warns expenditures are out of line, noting it's only May and appropriations were set two months ago. He stresses the program is not mandated.
