Planners Discuss Incinerators and School Attitudes
Spokesmen for Allis-Chalmers Milwaukee will demonstrate a kiln-type incinerator model for county officials at the Homemstead Inn Milford. The Clermont County Planning Commission, Batavia, announced the meeting to review financing plans for the project and to discuss school consolidation and state policy on small districts. The 1964 budget for the planning commission proposes 10 000 to fund the new executive director Charles Wiester starting June 1, and 11 750 for three other staff members. Plane Wreckage Reported Near Rt 286
Civil Air Patrol pilot from Lunken Airport spotted wreckage of a single engine plane south of Rt 286 while searching for a missing aircraft carrying three passengers. State Patrol and Lt Art Mehring flew to the scene by helicopter. The wreck involved the same plane that killed Dr. Ernest Stewart on July 5, 1959 between here and Marathon.
