Locust Corner Youth Killed by Runaway Team
Bennett Behymer, 16, died in Locust Corners when bolting horses frightened a sprayer he drove on Joe Nobis’s farm. The incident, late Saturday, left Clermont County with four violent deaths in April. Behymer fell clear of the machine as the wheels passed over his head. funeral services were held Tuesday. His parents’ other son, George, 18, reported for May draft examination in Batavia.

Bethel Theft Case Disposed By Common Pleas Court
Two theft cases before Judge Harry Britton in Bethel were disposed of last week. Charles Parker was found guilty of larceny after a night entry and sentenced to one to 15 years with three years suspended on probation. Marvin Cassler received a not guilty verdict after testifying as a witness.
