Two Injured In Route 50 Crash Near Perintown
Gladys Rooks 22 and Glenn Gorman 23 of Marathon were injured when their car struck an abutment near Linden Hill tavern Route 50 Perintown. Gorman suffered a fractured skull and lung hemorrhage while Rooks had chest injuries and both legs broken. They were taken to Bethesda hospital by Moore and Monroe ambulances as traffic was halted and Deputy Sheriff Frank Perry coordinated the response.
