Two Injured at Stone Quarry Near Pt Pleasant
Two FERA workers Dewey Hass of New Richmond with a fractured leg and William Hutson with several broken ribs were injured Saturday in a quarry near Pt Pleasant when the bank slid and trapped them beneath a cave in. Both were treated at Meade Memorial Hospital in New Richmond.

Auto wreck at Hamlet injures Newport man
William Armstrong of Newport Kentucky and a friend wrecked their auto at the east end of Hamlet Sunday night. Armstrong received seven stitches for a forehead gash while his friend had minor bruises.
