Latonia Masons Visit Batavia for Master Mason Degree

Latonia Kentucky Masonic Lodge members 30 visited Batavia Masonic Lodge Saturday night to perform Master Mason degree work. About 192 people from 39 lodges across six states attended as Paul K Moore superintendent Batavia schools acted as candidate. Frances Dever and Morris Burkholder, Batavia teachers, were raised.

Shortage in Erdman accounts set at 7608.53 reported

State examiner W H Howland confirms the shortage of 7608.53 in Clermont County treasurer accounts after re checks by Howland and Erdman. Prosecutor Frank A Roberts says bonding companies will pay the amount into the County Treasury immediately. Erdman also seeks tax duplicate corrections for an overcharge of 591.09 and a revised total of 8199.62.

Young Republican Club of Clermont County seeks members

County Home updates with new barn and herd noted

Moscow Grange Installs Washington Grange Members

W F Kirk thanks Ed and Mrs Ross for helping Deputy Master C J Nobis recruit 47 charter members for Moscow Washington Grange formed April 14. Nobis installed officers April 21 with Mrs Ross and Geo Behymer as marshals. Locust Corner degree teams staged a thrill and bestowing opening and closing rites. A lunch followed and Moscow plans a May 3 visit to Bata via Grange to see further degrees.

Williamsburg Grange observes 19th anniversary with program

Williams burg Grange marked its 19th anniversary Saturday evening led by Master Roush and Lecturer Rowan. Twenty charter members attended. Mr Harvey Perin, who organized the Grange 19 years ago, was not present. A birthday cake, lunch, and a coincidence with Moscow Ohio Grange installation followed. Next meeting set for May 5.

IOOF Anniversary Observed by District Lodges in Edenton

The Odd Fellows anniversary will be celebrated in Edenton next Saturday with the 64th district lodges from Edenton Marathon Newtonsville and Goshen. A basket dinner will be served in the lodge room and a program at the M E church starting at 10 am featuring Rev Ludwick and daughters and Jas M Fitzpatrick past master. Milford is expected to celebrate Saturday evening and other towns have not yet reported.
