Ohio's adjutant general reports the May call will rise to 150000 men, with June training camps hosting 300000 of the 800000 second draft. House passage of the draft bill could yield 3,000,000 fit for service this year, with 1,200,000 registered and 750,000 in class one, enabling an army of 4500000 without altering current class two numbers.

The Stonelick Township Consolidated High School Owensville will hold commencement at Favrer's hall on Friday May 8 1918. Dr F C Landsitter of Ohio University will give the address with Marathon Orchestra providing music. Graduates include Mary Favret Helen Shriner Velma Ansteatt Adrian Duchemin Eunice Alrey John Burdsall Irwin Fischer Clifford Rosselot and Charles Hathway. The class is praised for outstanding records and readiness for life.
Clermont County Red Cross Beth el Bethel facility lists 60 hospital shirts and 245 many tailed bandages among other items. Towns include Felicity Marathon Moscow Mt. Carmel Williamsburg Amelia Fair Oak Union Chapel New Richmond Batavia and others with various counts of shirts bandages and pillows.
Charles T. Kennedy of Felicity aged 62 died at home on April 23 after a stroke of paralysis. He was found unconscious in his drug store by his nephew after dinner and spent his life in Felicity. He was a leading citizen. a widow and two children survive. Funeral was held last Friday.
A quiet ceremony in Waukegan Illinois united Dr C B Johnson lieutenant U S N R F and Miss Eva Wallin at the bride’s mother home by a Great Lakes Naval Station chaplain. After May 1 they will reside in Waukegan. War Savings figures from Batavia schools total 4148 25 across grades.

She was sent to Marysville last week to begin her life imprisonment. Associate Harry Cowdrey awaits trial and she is to be prosecuting witness.
Charles Wahl of Mt. Crab reports his Ford stolen from the garage last week. Only three trips were made with the vehicle and the family was unaware of the loss. Police suspect the culprit and rest ar rests may follow.
W. H. Banister of Bethel will receive his final discharge in a matter of days. His bankruptcy case, along with several others, was disposed of last Friday, marking closure of the proceedings.
