The annual rummage and bake sale by The Ladies of St Marys Church SR 125 East of Bethel will be held in the Church Center on April 4 from 9 am to 2 pm. Admission is one dollar after 11 30 am.
School will not be in session on Friday March 27. Office hours are 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 27 for appointments.
The Grange plans a 50 year member banquet at Newtonsville Odd Fellows Hall on Main St at 6 p.m. A chair lift will be available and the event is a covered dish supper with ham and chicken provided by the Grange. Attendees are asked to bring their own plate setting.
The Amelia High School auction to raise funds for uniforms is planned for March 28 at noon at Amelia High School. Items include household goods and a motorcycle with refreshments sold. consignments welcome. Call Dale Moore at 752 4791 to donate. Reverend George Frank Bauer, 95, died March 19 in Ft. Alumni groups schedule a reunion for classes 1906 through 1957 with a pre dinner tour of the Old Owensville School Building from 6 to 7 p.m. June 6 at Northeastern Middle School. 1956 and 1931 will be honored as 25 and 50 year classes. On Saturday, March 28, the Clermont County Mounted Patrol sponsors a square dance and mixed slow dance at Batavia American Legion from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are $5 per person and include beer and set-ups. Music by New CW String Band with Howard Spaulding calling.
Mt. One United Methodist Church announces a rummage sale at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church on SR 125 Withamsville. The event runs Friday April 3 from 9 am to 4 pm. Proceeds support church activities and community outreach.
