Free Chest XRay Service Set for Clermont County
The Clermont County Tuberculosis and Health Association will run a free chest X-ray cruiser from March 13 to April 5 at 20 sites including Edenton school Newtonsville Goshen Day Heights Milford shopping center and Cherry Grove Plaza. People 18 and older may participate. results will be reported. The program aims to detect TB and other conditions and follows a county wide call for annual X rays for food handlers.

Offender Surrenders License After Drunken Driving Convictions
John E. O'Brien, 25, of 980 Batavia Pike, Glen Este, gave up his driver's license to Judge M. Dale Osborn in County Court. For a second drunken driving offense in three days he was initially fined 250 dollars and jailed 30 days. after surrendering his license the fine was reduced to 150 dollars and 10 days in jail. Batavia Mayor R. C. Jamison fined him 75 dollars and three days in jail for the first offense.

Escapees Bound To Jury Bond Set In County Court

County Plans Widening of Clough Pike Road
