Clermont County reports 1 505 Korean bonus eligible veterans can obtain applications from March 11 to 15. Veterans Service Officer James Griffith said office hours will run 7 to 9 am that week. A meeting of county VFW and American Legion post commanders is set for March 7 at Frank W Weaver post Batavia to plan distribution and aid in form completion.

Dr Carl Minning of Batavia says his average of 774 Salk shots suggests at least 15 000 polio vaccinations by about 20 county doctors, higher than the 7 000 figure released last week by the board of health. The health board cites 16 000 county wide, with clinics offered free through age 19. Boy to share speaking honors with OSU expert

Leever Named Deputy Dog Warden in Clermont County
Raymond Leever of Goshen township was appointed deputy dog warden by Clermont County commissioners succeeding the late Ben Gresham. Leever will be paid 235 dollars a month. Ohio to proceed on Rt. 125 project in three counties
The Ohio Department of Highways will award the Rt. 125 improvements in Anderson Ohio and Clermont counties. The plan calls for grading drainage paving resurfacing and widening of the route’s three point one miles. Twenty two land cases have been filed in Common Pleas Court with eight more expected and $51977.29 in deposits already held by the county clerk representing the department valuation. The total project cost rose from 800000 to 1513948 after scope expansion. Objections were raised by local contractor Walt Kunz and Donald Calhoun but the department will proceed and modify sidewalks through Williamsville to aid school children.

Council Recommends Delayed Licensing Plan for Plumbers
