Bridge to be torn down replaces with wider three span span

The 57 year old Big Indian Creek bridge in Pt. Pleasant will be replaced this year by a wider three span bridge while retaining the cannon bronze plaque beacon lights and stone caps in the new design. A temporary bridge will maintain traffic during construction and bids are planned for September.

Blood donation policy ends for fines in Clermont County

Judge E Robert Schaeffer halted a program requiring defendants to donate blood to pay fines at Clermont County Court. Hoxworth Blood Center Cincinnati says it will not accept blood from those paying fines with donations.
