Prosecutor in Atlanta on Henderson case
Clermont County prosecutor George Pattison will fly to Atlanta on March 4 to meet with prosecutors from five states about pending cases against Robert Dale Henderson. He is a prime suspect in the murder of Jerilyn Stanfield of rs Township who disappeared from Eastgate Mall January 14 and whose body was found two weeks later in a Monterey barn. Henderson faces eight murders, kidnapping, rape, sodomy, aggravated theft, and armed robbery across five states, including killings of three inlaws in Adams County Ohio. Sheriff John Van Camp and Inspector Clarence Pennington met in Atlanta February 15 with police investigators.

Milford man pleads not guilty in welfare worker threat
A 40-year-old Milford man Jimmy L. Bowers pleaded not guilty in Clermont County Court to a charge of menacing a food stamp worker. An arraignment before Judge David Feldhaus set March 11 for a hearing. The incident at the Clermont County Service Center on February 19 involved a threat to shoot if food stamps were not issued. Menacing is a fourth degree misdemeanor with up to 30 days in jail and a fine up to 250.
