Mrs Jedidah Marsh Walker widow of L J Walker died in Wilmington Ohio on February 25 1820. Born March 9 184 in Clermont county she moved to Wilmington after marriage in 1807 and remained there with her children. Survived by daughter Wilmina wife of Judge J S Kimbrough son Joe M Walker and daughter Ethel Walker sister Mary Nash and Emma M Morey and brother Joseph L H Marsh. Had long held patriotic interest and world war support.

Tobacco Market Opens With Steady Demand At Batavia
The Batavia tobacco market opened with little change from the prior sale. Good leaf remains well priced while low grades stay in demand. Last Thursday offerings exceeded 97 000 pounds at an average of 21.88 a hundredweight. March 1 sale totaled 47 000 pounds averaging 18.70. George Watkins led with an 58 per cwt crop. G Siebert showed 1485 pounds at 62. A farm meeting with a state university tobacco specialist discussed steam beds and disease control as the market nears closing time.

Louis Hicks Dies at 70 in Batavia Ohio
Louis Hicks born September 8 1849 in Amelia Ohio died February 24 1920 at his Batavia home. A respected lawyer and former Clermont County Prosecuting Attorney he practiced in Cincinnati Batavia and with firms Frazier Hicks and later solo. Survived by wife Josephine Hopkins Hicks daughter Louise Hicks brother W A Hicks and sister in law Anna Belle Hopkins. Funeral February 26 1920 at Batavia with Masonic and Methodist rites at Citizens Cemetery.
