John J. Thomas longtime custodian at the Batavia Court House died after a brief illness last Friday. Funeral services were held February 27 at 2 PM from Moore Funeral Home with burial in Batavia Cemetery. He is survived by his widow Fanny Fields a foster daughter Mrs. Fanny Kennedy and sister Mrs. Catherine Demint of Campbellsburg Kentucky.
