James Hitch of Batavia dies after long illness
James Hitch of Batavia died at his home Wednesday in his 87th year after a long illness. He leaves a widow, daughter Mrs Monroe Wiseman of Perintown, son Frank of New York, W. O. and Lillian Robinson as stepchildren. He was a member of Amelia I O F lodge which conducted his funeral at his residence Friday afternoon. Burial was in Union Cemetery. He had moved here from a farm years ago and led a retired life.
