Watson Restored as Clermont County GOP Chairman
John L. Watson, Batavia attorney and Williamsburg resident, was elected Republican Party chairman on June 14 in Clermont County after a unanimous vote. He previously chaired 1966 to 1975 and returns as director of the Board of Elections. The GOP also elected vice chairman John Barr, secretary Joan Peters, and treasurer William Storch, with a larger female representation on the new Executive Committee.
