Milford Rt 28 widening study approved by ODOT director

David L. Weir, head of Ohio Department of Transportation, approved a study to widen Rt 28 from Service Rd behind the Milford shopping center to Mt. Repose. The decision followed a June 16 reassessment meeting urged by Governor James Rhodes and chaired by Rep. Robert Taft II, with over 150 residents present. The district deputy director noted the project would be eligible for 70 percent federal funding.
