Clermont County Hospital Breaks Ground for New Emergency Department
Groundbreaking ceremonies were held on Thursday June 21 for Clermont County Hospital Emergency Department expansion. Attendees included hospital staff personnel Hospital Commission representatives Clermont County Commissioners Chamber of Commerce and Hospital Guild. The project covers 10 000 square feet at a cost of 1 300 000 with two stories planned and first floor housing six examination rooms an observation room x ray room meeting room and staff areas. The existing ER will become an expanded outpatient department and the drive in area will be walled in.

The Best Western East motel at 1275 and Beechmont Avenue Union Township will target business guests with just under 100 oversize rooms and eight suites. A continental breakfast will be provided free. no restaurant at opening, with plans for a later one. Facilities include a pool, laundry, three meeting rooms that can combine for 225-person banquets. The Beck Group, builder of the project, also runs other Best Western motels in the Cincinnati area.
