Three Point Water Plan Accepted for Clermont County
Clermont County Commissioners accepted a three point plan to supply water to about 1700 residents in Pierce and Union townships and nearby areas. Alfred LeFeber and H H Mace outlined options including county plant, East Fork river pipe, or Cincinnati supply with similar overall rates. The plan calls for 1500 homeowner signatures and would cost about 1.82 million funded by water bonds, with no tax money.

Boy Accidentally Shot By Brother Near Bethel
James Fiscus 8, son of Mr and Mrs De Fiscus, was shot by his brother Robert while they shot at a target near an outbuilding. Jimmy was struck near the heart and taken to Dr Charles M Simmons for first aid before being moved to Children’s Hospital in the Kennedy ambulance. The family lives a mile from Bethel on Maple Pike.
