Tate Trustees Set Hearing On Zone Proposal
Tate Township trustees schedule an 8 p.m. hearing July 17 at the Grant Memorial building on a proposed zoning resolution. If approved, the measure would go to the November ballot and apply to land around East Fork Reservoir in Batavia Williamsburg and Tate townships. Zoning already exists in neighboring townships and early reservoir construction boosts support. Army Corps of Engineers land acquisitions begin next month, with an office in Lebanon. Painters Jerry Crawford and Donald Louderback of Felicity have been hired part time to paint county buildings.
