Mayor Riley announced the first Saturday night street dance in Felicity will occur this week and continue weekly. He chairs the servicemen's building fund drive with Co chair Ralph Metzger. Cdr. Alex Vaughn of the Wiley Crosswell Post American Legion and Mrs Thelma Patrick head the auxiliary. A recreation and Legion meeting building site has been optioned and, if funds are raised, remodeling and purchase will begin at once.

Drowned Girl Found After Camp Joy Search Near Batavia
The body of 7 year old Margaret Ann McRoberts was recovered from the East Fork River after a 20 hour search by police and volunteers forming a human chain. She drowned Monday near Camp Joy where she attended with her church group. The Rev J Brooke Moseley led the search and said she had been told not to swim but joined the group and wandered away. The camp is run by St Barnabas Church Findlay and Baymiller streets Cincinnati to provide low cost sessions for girls.

Lt. William E. Timerding, 19, son of Mr and Mrs Edward Timerding Route 2, New Richmond, was killed in an airplane accident over England, according to War Department word received by his parents. A former Eaton High School student, he enlisted in the Army Air Forces about 18 months ago and earned his wings in Columbus Mississippi. He had been overseas about 30 days and is survived by a brother, Cpl. Robert Timerding, a paratrooper at Camp Breckridge Kentucky.

Moscow Soldier Promoted to Staff Sergeant in War Unit
Sgt. Andrew Birgam of Moscow Ohio was promoted to staff sergeant by Marauder base headquarters. An engi neer-gunner on Lethal Lady in the Silver Streaks bombardment group, he holds the Air Medal and four Oak Leaf Clusters for 25 bombing missions over France Belgium and Holland. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Jasper Sipple of Moscow and entered service in September 1942.
