Hospital Lease Signed Opens Oct 1 East of Batavia
A Cincinnati based Sisters of Mercy will operate a public hospital near Batavia beginning October 1 under a 10 year lease for $1 per year. The three story brick building will house general exam and treatment rooms, two floors of 72 patient rooms each, no maternity ward, and emergency care for maternity cases if needed.
