Clermont road bids come in well under engineer’s estimate
Jurgensen Co of Cincinnati emerged as the apparent low bidder on seven Clermont County road projects with a total of 566 828 78 dollars, far under the engineer’s estimate of 787 850 dollars. The awards cover branches Hill Guine Road, Wards Corner, Hill Station, Branch Hill Loveland, and other lengths. County Commissioners will decide on awards after County Engineer Walter Carter reviews the bids. In other business, the panel paused a request to waive 150 dollars in building permit fees for the Cavalcade of Homes project, citing legality concerns since it is not a public project.
