Hornets Nest Exhibited At Local Law Office Window
The largest hornets nest ever seen in this section is on display in Ely & Burnes law office window. It was secured last week in the Stone lick bills and measures 18 inches through and 24 inches long in fine preservation. Given its size, Stonelick township hornets may have used it as headquarters. The nest is perfectly shaped and fastened to a small limb.

Harrisburg man returns from Taos hunt with record grizzly haul
Charles Gaskins of Harrisburg Illinois and three companions returned from a hunting expedition near Taos New Mexico where they bagged four grizzly bears. Two of the four were described as the largest ever killed in the southwest. The party left May 7 as local ranchers near Taos reported heavy sheep losses.

Game warden nets two violators in Adams County

Last Batavia Township commencement marks a change

Man Killed Riding Freight Train Near Perrntown

Thieves Capture Packard Six Stolen From Loveland
