Sheriff Clyde Dericks and Marvin Bissantz arrested Ralph Knarr 40 Batavia Rt. 4 near New Richmond. Knarr is wanted on charges of passing worthless checks and a conversion charge. He allegedly passed over 20 bad checks in 15 communities in Ohio and Kentucky. He served three years in Michigan City for similar crimes. He is held under $2000 in Clermont County jail awaiting grand jury action.

Manchester Man Convicted On Driving Charge

Mrs Glassmeyer Convicted of Court Contempt in Clermont Case
Jimmie Dell Glassmeyer now of Mariemont was fined 500 dollars with 300 suspended and sentenced to 10 days in jail by Judge Harry Briton in Batavia Common Pleas Court Tuesday for contempt of court. She allegedly took her four year old daughter Gayle from a Clermont County foster home against the court order. The child is reported to be in St. Petersburg Florida.

Williamsburg Pair In Hold Up Attempt Wounded
Wilbur Hall 29 and his brother Ed Hall 26 of Williamsburg were in a West Union hold up attempt at Sue's Truck Stop when Wilbur was shot in the chest. Ed drove him away and was later arrested at Christ Hospital. Ed will face armed robbery charges along with his brother.
