Remley and crew spent the weekend with his parents, Homer and Mrs. Remley, at Tirante. Mrs. Walter Roehn, 22, seeks divorce from Walter Roehn, 35, via attorney Ben West of Bethel on May 31, citing no clear reason for the split but open to reconciliation.

The Nichols family will entertain members of Nichols Wood Marx and Ginter with a buffet supper on June 12 at 5 30. The supper will be served at the residence of Allen Nichols. Approximately sixty guests are expected to attend.
The St Bernadette PTA held its regular meeting on Sunday June 9. It was the last meeting before the summer recess with new officers to be installed in September.
The Batavia area reports a successful May 26 banquet at Batavia Public School Auditorium. Over 200 guests received a fried chicken dinner. Sponsored by the Invincible Club, a group of 13 Black working women ages 21 to 35 aimed at civic, social, and church advancement led by President Mrs. Fanny Kennedy.
The Batavia Garden Club will meet at the home of E. H. Speidel on Monday June 17 at 2 30. Guest speaker Miss Emma Runte will present. Members are asked to bring arrangements and displays of roses.
The Milk Producers Union will hold a regular session at the Court House in Batavia on Friday evening June 14, 1946. The meeting will cover union affairs and dairy industry matters.

Two copies of the Tax Budget for Batavia Local School District Clermont County Ohio are on file for public inspection. A Public Hearing on the Budget will be held at the School Building in the Superintendent's office on July 1, 1946 at 8 p.m. Clerk J. M. Wiseman.
