Burglaries Hit Williamsburg and Seaman Stores
Twenty six years ago on June 16 1921 Williamsburg stores J C Puler and Less Chatterton were entered by burglars many goods removed to unknown locations bloodhounds failed to locate thieves or recover items. Seaman businesses also broken into with several hundred dollars in goods stolen after doors were forced.

Man electrocuted while trying to put out tree fire near New Richmond

Flooding Along East Fork Submerges Farm Land
The East Fork of the Little Miami flooded Monday afternoon near Batavia and Perintown after heavy rains. Route 222 was submerged and traffic rerouted through Owensville. Many acres of crops and several farm homes and cabins were inundated, with water receding by evening. Route 222 reopened Tuesday morning. A final damage report was not yet available.
