Triple Car Crash Injures Three Including Milford Youth
A three car collision involving a Milford boy, Victor Green of Toveland, and Mrs. Ethel Geyer of Love ing left all three injured. The Milford youth suffered a brain concussion a fractured ankle and shoulder bruises. Green had cuts and head bruises while Mrs. Geyer sustained various cuts. Farmer's Body Found Under Upset Tractor Near Milford
William Sroufe age 52 was found dead beneath his overturned tractor on the Ralph E Hodges farm near Milford Ohio after being missing for 48 hours. He lived alone on Klondyke Road East of Milford and had come to plow corn Tuesday evening. Neighbors noted his absence but assumed he worked elsewhere. Solomon Smith Hodges employee spotted the overturned tractor on a hill by the East Fork Thursday evening. Neighbors recovered the machine and a physician said he had died two days earlier. Rollin Keith Norris of New Richmond paid 25 dollars and costs for reckless driving. Robert B Schubert of Batavia Route 4 was fined 15 dollars and costs for a stop sign violation. Paul E Stanford of Cincinnati fined 26 dollars and costs for reckless driving and agreed to pay damage to a farm fence. Anthony Hoderlein of Mt Carmel was acquitted of assault and battery. eight witnesses testified.
