Juvenile Court Busy With Cases and Farm Day News
The Clermont County Juvenile Court heard two cases this week with Proba tion Officer Miles Deel handling out of court arrangements. Young Man Drowns While Swimming at East Fork
John Montjar, 15, of Owensville, drowned Monday afternoon at the East Fork near Stonelick after venturing too far from shore. Friends searched the deep 17 foot water until farmer Harry McAfee retrieved the body with a fishing pole. the boy would have turned 16 soon. Undertaker King of Williamsburg prepared the remains.

In Philadelphia on June 6 the champion Holstein cow Rollo Mercena de Kel sold for 26000 at a pedigreed cattle auction during the Holstein-Freisian Association annual convention. Her seven day record is 6198 pounds of butter and 1138 pounds of milk. A daughter of the cow brought 7100.
