66th District primaries yield Fisher and Wuerdeman nominations
In Clermont County, Republican Sue Fisher won 54 percent of the GOP vote for state representative in the 66th district, defeating Randy Carson. Democrat Catherine B. Linda Wuerdeman edged her rival to claim the Democratic nomination after late precinct returns. Libertarian John Montgomery and independent Lois Brown Dale appeared in November. Jerome Wiesenhahn captured the Democratic nomination for Clermont County Commissioner with 64 percent, facing Republican Robert S. Croswell Jr. Voters approved a 0.9 mill renewal for developmental disability programs. Total turnout was 29.2 percent with 14,817 of 51,317 eligible voters casting ballots.
