The Clermont County Federation of Women's Club celebrated its twenty fifth anniversary at Milford Methodist Church on June 4. President Mrs Anna Wakefield led a day of speeches music and readings including a Chinese operetta directed by Mrs O B Kaiser. The event praised local clubs and urged support for Red Cross and Health League efforts.

Eugene Dial a former Clermontery resident of 12 years died at his home in New Market on June 2 after a short illness in his 67th year He was born near Olive Branch and was a noted musician He is survived by a widow and is a brother of Frank Dial

Camp Regulations Adopted by Ohio Health Department
The Public Health Council of the Ohio State Department of Health has adopted sanitary camp regulations in effect May 1 1925. The rules apply to recreational health education sectarian tourist labor picnic or resort camps. No camp may be established maintained or used without written notification and a permit issued by the state or district health authorities following a health inspection. Approved camps will be designated with a sign reading APPROVED CAMP Sanitation approved by Department of Health.

Forest Hill pavilion for skating and dancing opens
Herbert Swift created a combined rink and dance hall at Forest Hill, his summer resort. The new venue opened last week with dancing and will offer skating on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays and dancing on Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays with the Alabama Jazz Band supplying music.

Clermont County Drops County Aid To Fairs

Batavian Boy Drowns in East Fork Creek
Luther R. Haney aged 16 drowned in the East Fork below the infirmary Wednesday afternoon while swimming with friends. After a large dinner he went to the creek despite being urged to wait, sank in deep water and could not be revived. Funeral held from his uncle Kirk Fleak’s home with burial in Butler Kentucky.
