Milford Cadet Earns Honors at Brigade Review
Cadet John H. Veidt Jr. of Milford received military and academic awards at a Brigade Review on June 1 after his West Point appointment by the late Rep. James G. Polk. He earned a physics rating award from the Veterans of Foreign Wars, mechanics of solids award from the VFW auxiliary, and mechanics of fluids award from the National Society DAR. Veidt graduated June 3 with a Bachelor of Science and will be commissioned in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
