Two Struck By Lightning Killings At East Fork Outing
Clarence Barnes and his wife were out with their daughter Nellie near Bethel on East Fork when a Sunday afternoon lightning strike killed Nellie, aged 9, and paralyzed Mrs. Barnes from the hips. Nellie attended local school. Mrs. Barnes remains under physician care in serious condition.
