Marilyn Raymond, a 17 year old dance student and teacher, has danced since age five and now teaches at all five Jack Louise studios with regular Saturday classes at Upper Clough Civic Club and Thursday sessions in Silverton. Business Leader in Batavia Suffers Heart Attack
Paul M. Blocher former Batavia councilman and past Batavia Busi ness Men's Association president was stricken at noon July 24 at his drug store in Batavia. He was rushed to Christ Hospital by Moore ambulance with Dr. Frederick S. Skeen assisting. He had just returned from Good Samaritan Hospital after knee surgery. Blocher was known for blunt criticism of trading stamps and indecent literature, once advertising to stop using stamps. Two wire services carried the story nationwide.
